A car crashed into a King Taco restaurant in East Los Angeles Friday morning after colliding with a Metro train, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on the corner of Ford Boulevard and Third Street.
According to Metro, a driver was making a left turn on Ford Boulevard in front of a Metro E Line train that was traveling east on 3rd Street.
The Los Angeles Fire Department helped evacuate all of the passengers on the train. No injuries were reported.
NewsChopper4 was over the scene where the SUV was seen halfway into the establishment.
Eastbound traffic was being diverted to southbound Ford Boulevard, CHP said.
The driver was transported to a local hospital.
