
Two libraries at USC’s University Park Campus were closed Sunday after a reported bomb threat.
The libraries were declared safe following an LAPD investigation, according to campus police. Both libraries will remain closed until Monday morning.
The threats were reported at Leavey Library and the Doheny Memorial Library, campus police posted on X. People were asked to stay away from the area.
LAPD has concluded its search of both Leavey and Doheny libraries at UPC and declared them safe. However, as a precaution, both libraries will remain closed until Monday morning.

The Leavey Library is on West 34th Street west of Figueroa Street and the Doheny Memorial Library is located off Childs Way west of Figueroa.
Details about the source of the threat were not immediately available. A Los Angeles Police Department bomb squad was at both libraries.
