Grab your mics and instruments, we’re headed back to Camp Rock.
“We’re back!! #CampRock3 is now in production,” the X account for Disney+ wrote on Wednesday.
“Camp Rock,” Joe Jonas said in the video.
“So, good to be back,” his brother Nick Jonas exclaimed.
The Jonas Brothers will reprise their roles as Shane, Nate and Jason Gray, and will serve as executive producers alongside Demi Lovato. So far, it’s not confirmed if she’ll reprise her role as Mitchie Torres.
Meanwhile, Maria Canals-Barrera will return as Mitchie’s mother and Sherry Cola will play the new character named Lark.
In the franchise, the Jo Bros are famously known as Connect 3, which is a teen pop band consisting of three brothers.
“Connect 3 loses their opening act for a major reunion tour, returning to their beloved Camp Rock to discover the next big thing. As campers vie for the chance to open for their favorite band, tensions rise and friendships are tested, leading to unexpected alliances, revelations and romances,” the movie’s plot explained. “Camp Rock’s all-new campers include bold and determined Sage (Liamani Segura) and her easygoing brother Desi (Hudson Stone), cello prodigy Rosie (Lumi Pollack), drummer with his own beat Cliff (Casey Trotter), choreo queen Callie (Brooklynn Pitts), intimidating influencer Madison (Ava Jean) and camp bad boy Fletch (Malachi Barton).”

This announcement from the House of Mouse comes after Joe accidentally spilled the beans that it was happening.
The Disney Channel Original Movie “Camp Rock” was released in 2008. The sequel, “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” was released in 2010. The two movies are among the Top 10 Disney Channel Original Movies of all time and were the No. 1 Cable Movie Premiere in their years of premiere, Disney explained.
“’Camp Rock’ is an important part of the Disney Channel Original Movie legacy, with unforgettable music, energetic storytelling, and characters that live in the hearts of fans to this day,” said Ayo Davis, president, Disney Branded Television. “Bringing it back with Kevin, Joe, Nick, and Demi is such a full-circle moment, and we can’t wait to reintroduce this world to a new generation.”
It will be directed by Veronica Rodriguez and written by Eydie Faye.
The movie is produced by Disney Branded Television and features choreography by Jamal Sims and Tim Federle of the “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.” Betsy Sullenger, Spencer Berman, and Gary Marsh will also serve as executive producers.
“Camp Rock 3” is set to be released on the Disney Channel and stream on Disney+.
