The most highly anticipated homecoming of the 2025 NFL season will take place on Sunday Night Football.
Micah Parsons will face his former team when the Green Bay Packers visit the Dallas Cowboys under the lights in Week 4.
Parsons requested a trade from the Cowboys after a tumultuous offseason of negotiations, and the team acquiesced by shipping him to the Packers in late August, just one week before the regular season kicked off. In return, the Cowboys received two first-round draft picks and defensive tackle Kenny Clark.
The Packers jumped out to a 2-0 start against two playoff teams from 2024, the Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders, with Parsons bolstering a strong defense. The team slipped up in Week 3, though, blowing a late 10-0 lead against the Cleveland Browns and having a potential go-ahead field goal blocked in the final minute.
The Cowboys, meanwhile, stumble into Sunday Night Football at 1-2. They lost their season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles, pulled off a chaotic comeback against the New York Giants in Week 2 and then fell to the Chicago Bears in Week 3.
