A man was injured in what the Los Angeles Police Department believes is a road rage shooting in the Mid-City area Wednesday night.
Officers responded to the 6000 block of Comey Avenue shortly after 11 p.m. where a 30-year-old man was shot.
Police said both the victim and the gunman had been inside their own cars at the time of the incident.
They believe the shooting happened at the intersection of La Cienega and Venice.
The suspected gunman had left the scene when police arrived. The shooting victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
The shooting was not believed to be gang related, police said. There was no description available on the suspected gunman’s vehicle.
