Multiple crashes reported at the end of dirt bike chase in Downtown Los Angeles

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Two people are in custody after a dirt bike pursuit ended in multiple crashes in Downtown Los Angeles.

The chase started in Koreatown when LAPD began pursuing multiple people on bikes. One of them was reportedly wanted for assault with a deadly weapon on an officer.

A police vehicle first crashed in the intersection of Olympic Boulevard and Hobart Boulevard during the chase. It’s not clear if anyone was hurt.

Shortly after, one of the dirt bike drivers crashed on Olympic Boulevard at Hope Street.

At least two suspects were taken into custody. One person was injured and transported to the hospital.
