Authorities were investigating possible military ordnance found Friday inside a padded container inside a storage area on the USC campus.
A bomb squad responded at about midday to the 3600 block of McClintock Avenue on the Exposition Park campus. Authorities said the ordance posed no threat to the public, City News Service reported.
Details about the item were not immediately available.
Video from NewsChopper4 showed streets near a parking structure closed for the investigation.
