
One person was killed in a stabbing that injured two other people Thursday night at the Fiesta celebration in Santa Barbara.
The stabbing stemmed from a fight in the 500 block of State Street, police said. Details about what led to the confrontation were not immediately available.
Officers found a man on the ground with stab wounds and two other people nearby who also had been stabbed. All three were transported to a hospital, where one died.
The other victims’ injuries were not considered life threatening.
A 29-year-old man identified by police as Luis Gerado Terrazas was arrested in connection with the stabbings.
