The driver of an RV was arrested Thursday on suspicion of driving under the influence following a deadly crash in Koreatown, authorities said.
A child between the ages of 9 and 10 was killed, and another person was transported to a hospital, according to the LAFD. The extent of the injuries of the person hospitalized was unclear.
The crash happened around 7:27 p.m. at the intersection of New Hampshire and 4th Street, LAPD confirmed.
The driver was arrested and taken to be booked.
