A police pursuit in Pasadena ended in two crashes involving an LAPD patrol SUV and a possible stolen luxury vehicle.
The chase began sometime before 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, according to police. LAPD units were in pursuit of a possible stolen black Mercedes G-Wagon.
One of the patrol cars crashed during the chase near the intersection of Walnut and Hill Street. The stolen vehicle crashed just blocks away near the intersection of Foothill and Sierra Madre.
It’s unclear what caused the two vehicles to crash.
NewsChopper4 was over the scene that showed a LAPD officer receiving medical attention and the overturned G-Wagon that began catching on fire.
At least one person was in custody.
