One person was injured Friday afternoon in a shooting near the El Sereno Recreation Center.
The shooting was reported at about 1:30 p.m. in the 4700 block of Klamath Street in the community northeast of downtown Los Angeles. Video from NewsChoppper4 showed patrol SUVs and yellow crime scene tape outside the building.
One person was hospitalized. Details about that person’s condition were not immediately available.
No arrests were reported early Friday afternoon. The shooter, described as 20-year-old man wearing a red sweater and armed with a handgun, left in a silver Toyota Camry, police said.
