The bodies of two people were found after two vehicles were spotted in a ravine in Acton on Sunday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP responded to the call at around 8:24 a.m. near the area of Mount Emma Road near Angeles Forest Highway.
Two vehicles were found in a ravine where one was unoccupied and the other had two bodies inside, CHP said.
Another person was at the location looking for someone, CHP said. But it was not clear if that person was related to either of the deceased people or if they were just reporting the incident.
CHP estimates that the cars in the ravine were there for a while, but it was not clear for how long.
