An explosion and fire rocked a refinery in El Segundo on Thursday night, causing massive balls of flames that could be seen for miles.
The cause of the incident was unclear, and officials have not provided any details.
But orange flames were visible for miles in the El Segundo and South Bay area and fire personnel were on scene.
The fire appeared to break out at the Chevron facility.
