
A brush fire in Riverside County near Aguanga continues to burn over 1,000 acres Thursday morning, according to Cal Fire.
The Dale Fire started at around 12:37 p.m. on Wednesday near Highway 371. It has burned 1,072 acres and is 25% contained as of Thursday morning, Cal Fire said.
Cal Fire said on Wednesday that their crews would be working through the night hitting hotspots as they continue to bolster the containment lines.
An evacuation center was opened at the Anza Community Center located at 56630 Highway 371 in Anza.
An animal evacuation shelter is also available at the Riverside County Department of Animal Services located at 581 S. Grand Avenue in San Jacinto.
