Officers chased a high-speed driver Monday morning who went the wrong way and drove in reverse during a pursuit on streets in the San Fernando Valley.
Details about what led to the chase were not immediately available, but police said the driver was wanted for a felony level crime.
The driver was in several Van Nuys neighborhoods, including near busy Van Nuys Boulevard near Vanowen Street, with LAPD patrol SUVs in pursuit. At times, the driver was on the wrong side of the road.
The driver stopped and reversed past two patrol SUVs before turning around and slowing to a stop on Vanowen Street near Cedros Avenue, where he was taken into custody.
