A 14-month-old boy died after he fell last week from a second-story window in his family’s La Mesa residence, the medical examiner’s office said.
The boy fell from the window in a townhome on Valley View Circle July 5, the office said. The office did not say what time he fell.
Police and paramedics responded to a 911 call to the home, and lifesaving measures were administered to the toddler as he was taken to Rady Children Hospital.
The child was admitted to the hospital but died there shortly before midnight on July 5.
