No draw four or reverse cards yet on casino floors in Las Vegas.
The maker of the popular card game Uno said you won’t be able to gamble on the game just yet.
Uno clarified the confusion on Instagram on Tuesday.
This all stemmed from news that the Palms Casino would be opening the first-ever Uno Social Club this weekend. Some thought this meant that they’d be able to place bets on a round of Uno.
“A rumor has come to our attention that there will be UNO tables on the casino floors in Las Vegas. Sounds wild, huh? We hate to be the bearers of bad news but the casino floor isn’t ready for us yet,” their caption said. “We’ve been told that while they do have tight security, it’s not robust enough for UNO at this time. This isn’t a Reverse card. While we get this sorted out, the UNO Social Club is rolling out to bars in Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, Atlanta and Austin this August.”
In the meantime, Mattel said the social club is non-gambling and that it’s meant to turn game nights into full-blown entertainment events for attendees 21 and older.
