Authorities are searching for the person who shot and killed a 35-year-old man in the Westlake District before leaving the scene on a scooter.
The shooting west of downtown Los Angeles was reported at about 4 p.m. Saturday on Westlake Avenue near MacArthur Park. The victim and shooter were in some type of dispute before the shooting, the LAPD said.
The victim died at a hospital.
