A driver was arrested Saturday following a high-speed pursuit that ended in the city of Monrovia.
The LA County Sheriff’s Department began the chase sometime before 9 p.m. in the East Los Angeles area.
The driver was wanted for reckless driving and possibly driving under the influence, according to LASD.
During the chase, officers drove up to the side of the pursuit vehicle and appeared to have attempted to communicate with the driver.
After a couple of close calls with other vehicles on the 10 Freeway in the San Gabriel Valley, the driver got off the freeway and surrendered to police.
