An Amber Alert issued Wednesday afternoon for a 3-year-old boy last seen a day ago in southern Los Angeles County was deactivated after the child was located.
The child was last seen at about 1 p.m. Tuesday near Compton Avenue and East Imperial Highway, according the CHP alert. He was believed to be with a 29-year-old man.
The CHP alert issued on behalf of the LAPD included a photo of a car sought in connection with the child’s abduction.
Details about the circumstances surrounding the child’s disappearance and where he was located were not immediately available.
