Police in Fontana Wednesday looked for a hit-and-run driver who struck a teenager on her way to school.
The crash happened at 7:30 a.m. near Cherry Avenue and Walnut Street just blocks away from Etiwanda High School that the 17-year-old victim attended.
Police said the high school student was on her way to school when she was struck by the car.
The teen was seriously injured and taken to a nearby hospital.
The descriptions of the hit-and-run vehicle or driver were not immediately available.
