Authorities are investigating a smash-and-grab robbery at a jewelry store in Sherman Oaks on Wednesday.
Police received a call around 4:37 p.m. of a robbery in progress at the Westfield Fashion Square Mall in the 14000 block of Riverside Drive.
Kristoff’s Jewelers, located inside the shopping mall, was hit by several thieves, the LAPD said. Video of the aftermath shows multiple glass showcases shattered inside the jewelry store.
No arrests have been made.
A vehicle possibly connected to the robbery was located nearby in Van Nuys, according to the LAPD.
Details on the amount of merchandise the thieves came away with were not immediately available.
